Stefania - Harpist
Italian harpist Stefania has performed in various venues across the UK and Italy both as a soloist and as part of ensembles. She has performed at private events in several places such as the National Gallery, Natural History Museum and Drapers Hall. She has recently completed her Master of Performance Degree and Bachelor of Music at the Royal College of Music in London with excellent results. She has also been invited to perform for HRH Prince of Wales, HRH Duke of York, HRH Duchess of York at high-end private venues in London. She has been part of film music recordings at the Belle Shenkman Studio and with the RCM Philharmonic Orchestra with conductors Martyn Brabbins and Esa-Pekka Salonen.
Stefania began to play the harp aged 7 taking lessons at the Conservatorio di Musica Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo. She later went to finish her studies in Lucca (Italy) at the Conservatorio di Musica Puccini. She has been part of prestigious masterclasses with Ieuan Jones and Emanuela Degli Esposti in Italy. She has since participated to many masterclasses with several acclaimed musicians at the Royal College of Music such as Catrin Michel, Marisa Robles, Elena Zaniboni, Jana Bouskova and Stephen Fitzpatrick who have shared with her invaluable techniques to pass on. At age 11 she won the first prize at Concorso Nazionale per Giovani Musicisti in Italy. She is currently giving harp tuitions and playing for weddings, private parties, corporate events and drinks receptions.
One of London’s most experienced Wedding harpists she has performed in nearly all of London’s prestigious hotels and private clubs including The Dorchester, Royal Automobile Club, The Park Lane Hilton, Chiltern Firehouse and Annabel’s Club.
